Fuzzy Feet

I have got to get my husbands digital camera hooked up and working properly so I can post progress pics, and pepsi, our kitty, is just loving my renewed love of the needle. I must take some scrappy yarn and make more solid toys for her other than hand knotted balls to distract her from my zoomin needles.

I’ve nearly gotten 1/2 way through the second slipper on my first pair of fuzzy feet. I have been wanting to get a pair of these done for so long. I am doing a charcoal pair for hubby and a red pair for me. His are getting done first though, I’ve never made him anything and all he asks for are handmade socks, so when I get his slippers done I’ll cast on for a pair of socks for him.

I vow the camera will be operational today!

Bust some stash!

I have been knitting off and on since I was 13. I didn’t really LEARN to knit until I was in my late 30′s, sad I know. Just like every other knitter in the world I LOVE to buy yummy yarn, natural fibers are my favorites. But I have a problem, I buy yarn faster than I can knit with it!!! I figured I would start this blog to make myself get on the ball so to speak about getting through this yarn stash. It is 2007 and I pledge not to buy a single skien until I’ve gone through my stash.

Two full storage bins of yarn, some natural some not, but I will use it all before I buy more. My next post will be a full accounting of what I have, with pictures as well. Wish me luck!
